As a Travel Agent, you will organize clients' trips and holidays according to preferences and budgets to ensure the event runs smoothly, making it an extraordinary experience.

• Collaborate with clients to discuss their requirements and guide them on appropriate destinations, methods of transportation, accommodations, travel dates, and costs.
• Customize and facilitate clients' global and domestic travel itineraries
• Present relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events, etc.) to clients and travelers
• Make hotel reservations, book transportation, and collect payment/fees
• Advise clients of proper travel documentation and forms of payment for all types of travel
• Schedule meetings with clients and vendors to discuss future travel
• Answer customer queries via phone, email, and in-person
• Provide promotional materials to market and sell tour packages
• Handle occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds appropriately
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products including airline travel, hotel and car reservations, cruise, and tour travel

Qualifications

• Degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business or relevant field
• Proven work experience as a travel agent
• Thorough knowledge of both domestic and international travel trends
• Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems
• Strong communication skills, multilingualism is a plus
