ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Newport, Tennessee.

\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• 2/3 split schedule pattern alternating work days between weeks
\n• Call may be required as needed
\n• No floating between departments
\n• No 48-hour block scheduling available
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6
\n• Work on 24-bed medical surgical unit
\n• Required to wear royal blue scrubs
\n• Use Cerner EMR system
\n• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
\n• Tennessee nursing license required
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Travel experience preferred
\n• Must include RTO (Return to Origin) coverage at end of contract
\n• Provide direct and indirect patient care services addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental and general care needs
\n• Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes and diagnostic results
