Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join 2 West Med Surg/Tele Unit . This position involves providing comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a 1:5–6 patient ratio, utilizing EPIC charting, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Duties:

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a medical-surgical telemetry environment
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health staff, and families to ensure coordinated care
• Manage heparin and Lasix gtt (non-titrated)
• Participate in unit meetings, handoffs, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support safe, evidence-based practices within hospital standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 1 year specialty experience (Med Surg/Tele)
• Recent Trauma Level I or II hospital experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency (recent use required)

Certifications:

• Required: BLS (AHA)
• Preferred: ACLS

Education:

• Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Preferred: BSN
