Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Assist with bedside procedure including gynecological exams, phlebotomy
• Maintaining participant safety while at the center
• Act as liaison between providers/family/pharmacy and will be an active member of interdisciplinary team and cross train to home care RN position Communication.
• Provides medical case management and communication with referral sources Evaluation & Documentation.
• Demonstrates effective assessment skills that identify common physiological and psychological needs, perception and expectations of patient in regards to immediate and long term care
• Performing health screenings to include blood draws, drug screens, pulmonary function testing, EKGs, and audio and vision testing
• Administering vaccinations within the clinic and outside of the facility and placing PPD shots
• Triaging workers' compensation patients and preparing them to be seen by the provider
• Scanning and Indexing of patient records
• Answers telephone messages along with triaging patient calls under the direction of the provider

• Recent nursing practice experience or prior medical office experience preferred
• RN Licensure with Reciprocity in the state of Virginia
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
• Experience in oncology, IV therapy or medical nursing preferred
• One (1) year of dialysis experience is preferred
• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation of an accredited R.N
