Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in an ambulatory recovery room, requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications and a FL or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an ambulatory recovery room (PACU) setting
• Patient care focuses on post-anesthesia recovery
• 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
• On-call required: within a 6-week period, 4 weeknights, 2 weekend days, and 2 weekend night shift calls
• One major and one minor holiday call shift required if holiday falls on scheduled shift
• Responsible for the care and monitoring of patients recovering from anesthesia
• Must provide two professional references
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included with initial application
• Holiday call coverage may be required if a major or minor holiday falls during scheduled shifts
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• First time travelers may be considered

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year PACU experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
