Triage Registered Nurse

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $40-$43/hr DOE
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Dress Code: Black scrubs
EMR System: eCW

About the Role:
A growing specialty clinic in Houston is seeking a skilled Triage RN to serve as the main point of contact for patients. The Triage RN will ensure patients are prepared for procedures, answer their questions, and coordinate closely with the medical team to keep clinic operations running smoothly.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of RN experience
• Active RN license in Texas
• BSN

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient questions via phone, email, or in person
• Assess patient symptoms and determine the appropriate level of care
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to coordinate care
• Assist with planning and follow-up for procedures
• Educate patients on procedures, medications, and lifestyle changes
• Review and explain test results and medications
• Complete forms such as clearance letters, rehab referrals, and disability paperwork
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history
• Ensure care aligns with safety, infection control, and best practices
• Contribute to process improvements and better patient outcomes
• Support other clinic-related tasks as needed
