At Animal Hospital of Sullivan County in Ferndale, NY, we are committed to providing exceptional care for animals and their owners. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vet Assistant to join our team. In this full- or part-time role , you'll play a key part in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our patients. WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
This pet care position is available on both a full-time and part-time basis. The standard hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
In this rewarding position, your responsibilities will include preparing the clinic each day to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our patients. As a full- or part-time Vet Assistant, you will assist veterinarians during exams and procedures, provide comfort to animals, and monitor their health closely. Administering medications, offering aftercare advice to pet owners, and handling various clinical tasks will be a regular part of your day. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality care will be critical to the smooth operation of our clinic.
