Job Description: As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in our clinic, assisting veterinarians and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support during examinations and surgeries.
• Preparing and maintaining examination rooms and surgical areas.
• Assisting with the handling and restraint of animals.
• Performing basic laboratory tests and diagnostics.
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicating with pet owners about care instructions and treatment plans.
• Assisting with cleaning and maintenance of the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related field preferred.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary procedures.
• Ability to lift and restrain animals as needed.
• Certification in veterinary assistance or related field is a plus.
