The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for all of the distribution center’s departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct and develop the warehouse management and supervision team. Able to motivate, influence, and train people.
• Proactively communicating, coaching and training the warehouse staff and all associates to increase the overall quality and performance of the distribution center.
• Take ownership of all customer orders regarding order accuracy and service performance.
• Labor, Metrics and KPI management.
• Warehouse housekeeping and organization folded into the daily operation.
• Accurate warehouse record keeping as it pertains to: Payroll, Overtime, Temp hours (when applicable), inventory transactions, maintaining inbound and outbound procedures, shipping systems and employee productivity.
• Warehouse safety and equipment operation
• Planning, directing, and coordinating the distribution of products in compliance with company goals and objectives.
• Analyzing delivery and inventory issues and providing solutions.
• Enhancing and controlling distribution in order to satisfy customer and quality specifications.
• Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating a safe and efficient working environment.
• Maintaining proper employment levels through selecting, interviewing, and training of personnel.
• High-level leadership and decision-making skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage between 25-30 managers, supervisors and associates.

Education/Experience Required :

• Bachelor’s degree and fifteen or more years of warehouse management.

Computer Skills Necessary:

• Microsoft Office, EDGE, Dematic and RF scanning equipment.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Must be able to perform all physical demands of employees that he manages.

W ork Environment:

• Warehouse and office setting.
• Must have the ability to travel to visit vendors and customers when necessary.
