Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced Web Designer to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee. You will:

• Have practical web development experience with excellent grasp of front-end technologies and user experience.
• Have a solid understanding of design principles and the ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development best practices
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, jQuery)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Ability to create wireframes and mockups for websites or web applications using modern design tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js or Python
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Knowledge of modern .NET Framework technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and MVC
• Experience with creating and consuming web services using modern protocols such as REST or GraphQL
• Strong working knowledge of responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and information architecture
• Experience with optimizing website speed and performance
• Comfortable working in an Agile team environment and client-facing
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes such as planning, design, build, test, and deployment
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal
• Familiarity with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code or WebStorm
• Bachelor's degree

Desired Skills and Experience :

• A certification such as the Microsoft track that includes Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) with a focus is HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
