Essential Duties:

\n
• Ability to operate GMAW (MIG) GTAW (TIG) and follow WPS welding processes (3G/3F)
\n
• RWMA (Spot Weld) resistance welding processes and follow WPS welding processes
\n
• Ability to operate an oxy-acetylene torch (brazing process a plus)
\n
• Knowledge of weld symbols and where to look them up
\n
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques, materials and equipment
\n
• Proficient in using shop tools related to welding fit up (such as grinders)
\n
• Able to demonstrate basics of blueprint reading, read a tape measure and calipers
\n
• Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to cmplete assigned tasks within set time allotted
\n
• Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer and/or written reporting
\n
• Performs operator maintenance on equipment
\n

\n
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

\n
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or related work experience
\n
• Able to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas
\n
• Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
\n
