Job Summary:
ABLEMKR is seeking a skilled Welder Repair Technician with hands-on experience working on small diesel engines . This role is critical in ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of welding equipment and support machinery used in the field, particularly in demanding environments such as oil and gas facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on welder units and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair small diesel engines powering welding machines and support tools.
• Conduct routine service checks and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Weld and fabricate as necessary to maintain or improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of service, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry standards.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and project managers for equipment readiness.
• Travel to various job sites as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder Repair Technician or equivalent role.
• Strong working knowledge of small diesel engine systems.
• Proficiency with welding techniques and equipment diagnostics.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Must be able to work independently in field environments.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Work in outdoor environments and potentially adverse weather conditions.
• Stand, crouch, or kneel for extended periods.
