We are looking to fill on 2nd shift

5 days a week 2:45 pm-11:15 pm

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall safety and wellbeing of production workers, reporting any near miss or safety issues that need proper documentation. Work closely with Human Resources should any incidents occur.
• Prepare tracking sheets, jobs, and coordinate start of production cycles per PO and assure tooling readiness.
• Take daily attendance of staff and work with UV on any staffing needs to keep line running.
• Assign labor to properly trained production staff on cycles and follow up on progress during the job. Address any quality or safety issues as they occur.
• Check and sign off on all cycles put into production to assure accurate loading according to detailed work instructions and job travelers.
• Verify packed counts as they happen and make sure all tracking sheets are filled out properly.
• Track and report labor target shortages by employee, to determine underperformance or if time study review needed. Correct underperforming issues w/ Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Label finished production and alert QA to check so product can be moved to shipping shelf / warehouse.
• Monitor supplies and work with purchasing and material handler to always have what is needed before jobs start.
• Complete and update job sheets so that POs include all necessary supplies needed.
• Review end of PO (cycles) with Manufacturing Supervisor and reconcile any shortage or count issues.
• Manage raw material area for neatness, identification and work with warehouse and planning on deliveries to the production floor when new PO’s start and last PO reconciled.
• Monitor overall production floor organization and cleanliness and instruct team to address and improve daily.
• Other Duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of production equipment.
• Understanding of quality standards, concepts, and improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.

• Results-driven approach.

• · Knowledge of Quality Standards.

• Knowledge of ITAR, ISO 9001, AS 9100 and ISO 13485.
