Job Description As a 3D Artist, youll collaborate with the team to create and enhance 3D assets using sculpting and painting software. Youll process and optimize 3D scans, preparing models for project use. Working with Unreal Engine, youll set up scenes, materials, and lighting to finalize assets. Youll review your work to ensure it meets quality standards and adjust based on feedback. Keeping up with industry tools and techniques will be part of your routine to improve your skills and contribute effectively to projects. Skills and Requirements · Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Texturing · Create high-quality 3D models and textures for various projects. · Use software like ZBrush, or Substance Painter to edit and enhance 3D assets and ensure all 3D assets meet project standards and specifications. · Work with raw 3D scan data to clean, retopologies, and prepare models for efficient use. · Utilize Unreal Engine to create visuals, set up scenes, materials, lighting, and finalize assets. · Work closely with design and development teams to conceptualize and execute creative visual solutions. · Optimize models and textures for performance across various platforms, including real-time rendering. · Adapt and implement feedback from clients and team members to improve final outputs. · Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and use of relevant software tools. · Proficiency with industry-standard software, including but not limited to Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine. · Additional certifications or training in 3D art, game development, or related disciplines are a plus. · Knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques in 3D art and design. · Bachelors degree in fine arts, Computer Graphics, Animation, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
