Metro has an immediate opening for a part-time experienced Acupuncturist in our Hampton Bays office. You will be responsible for treatments with needles / e-stim / cupping Initials / reevaluations / daily notes tracking and working alongside a team of physical and occupational therapists.
Job Type: Part time, with full time potential
Schedule: Tues/ Thurs, 9-5pm or 10-6pm
Pay: $35-$50/hr

Essential Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the evaluation and treatment of patients needing Acupuncturist services.
Diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions of spinal column and extremities to prevent disease and correct abnormalities of the body.
Examines patients to determine nature and extent of disorder.
Performs diagnostic procedures including physical, neurological and orthopedic examinations.
Treatment of general medicine and internal medicine conditions including but not limited to gyno, gastro, pulmonary and cardiac.
Enhance and expand patient relations when possible.
Perform any other duties as needed and/or requested by Metro's Management team.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Acupuncture required
Certified Acupuncturist credentialed from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) preferred.
Minimum 2 years performing acupuncture required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
