Job Description

Our Rhode Island based retail brand is looking for an onsite Art Director with 5+ years' experience for an immediate role on their growing team; this role is onsite five days a week.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish the look and feel for all seasonal campaigns from digital experiences to catalogs.
• Work with creatives on seasonal campaigns and visual storytelling
• Work closely with other Art Directors and designers on all creative work across print, digital, e-commerce, social media.
• Partner with copywriters, photographers, videographers, stylists, and production teams to execute campaigns
• Oversee art direction for brand photography, videography, ensuring a flawless, refined aesthetic.
• Manage relationships with external creative partners, agencies, and freelancers as needed.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Allocate resources efficiently, balancing financial constraints with artistic ambition.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing and merchandising teams to align creative output with business goals.

Looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior creative role, with 3+ years in the retail, CPG, fashion, or similar industries.
• A strong portfolio with a mix of print and web projects
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments, including merchandising, marketing, and executive leadership.
• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Strong knowledge in the use of AI and other emerging technologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative ideas to both internal teams and external stakeholder
