Job Title: Business Development Manager (Flooring Division) Location: Norcross, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Sr. Flooring Product Manager
Salary: $70,000-$85,000 base salary + commission (On-Target Earnings up to $100,000 annually)

Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to drive growth and strengthen partnerships within the flooring industry. This role focuses on increasing market share, managing key accounts, and expanding the company's presence across retail, distributor, and OEM channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in flooring or building materials, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
This position is approximately
60% in-office and 40% field-based , requiring regular customer visits within the assigned territory.
Job Responsibilities: - Manage sales growth and business development initiatives for the assigned territory.
- Present and sell flooring products and services to retail, distributor, and OEM customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, action plans, and promotional initiatives to increase revenue.
- Generate new leads and follow up on referrals to build a strong customer base.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships through regular communication, training, and visits.
- Increase brand visibility by expanding displays, samples, and point-of-purchase materials.
- Deliver product presentations and customer training sessions.
- Provide market feedback, trends, and competitor insights to the marketing team.
- Manage CRM records, quotes, and follow-ups to ensure excellent service and responsiveness.
- Support trade shows, client entertainment events, and promotional activities as needed.
- Travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in flooring, building materials, or a similar industry.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Commercial sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed.
