Job Description

The Manager of Ecommerce Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all corporate accounts, fundraising initiatives, customer service, and day-to-day operations of the ecommerce department. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and the ability to drive growth while ensuring high-quality customer experience across all channels. The GM will lead a cross-functional team to meet business goals and uphold the values of Stoltzfus Meats.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate & Fundraiser Oversight:

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and fundraising clients.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow corporate sales and fundraiser participation.
  • Ensure smooth execution and fulfillment of large orders, meeting the specific needs of each client.

Ecommerce Operations:

  • Manage all aspects of the ecommerce platform, including product listings, order fulfillment, and customer interactions.
  • Oversee logistics, inventory management, and shipping for ecommerce orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, web development and internet sales teams to develop promotions, optimize user experience, and drive online sales.

Customer Service:

  • Lead the customer service team, ensuring a high level of satisfaction for both ecommerce and corporate customers.
  • Address escalated customer issues and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor and improve service levels, response times, and overall communication quality.

Team Leadership:

  • Hire, train, and manage staff across corporate accounts, fundraising, ecommerce, and customer service departments.
  • Develop team members by providing clear expectations, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented environment to achieve business objectives.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Work closely with Director of Sales & Marketing to set and achieve financial goals, identify growth opportunities, and develop long-term strategies.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions and optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Operations & Reporting:

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Provide regular reports on ecommerce sales, corporate partnerships, fundraising efforts, and customer service metrics to leadership.
  • Continuously review and improve operational workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in management, ecommerce, and/or corporate sales.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and implement them effectively.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, customer service management tools, and business software (e.g., MS Office, CRM).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
