Salary:

V1 Church is looking for a skilled and experience Audio Engineer to join its team. Reporting directly to the Audio Director, the Audio Engineer will oversee the audio experience for in-person services at the New Jersey V1 Church location. The Engineer will regularly assess audio systems and implement improvements and best practices. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with audio recording for video content as needed.
• Mobilize, train, and develop audio volunteers.
  
• Thrive in high-profile, high-stress environments.
• Handle a heavy workload as required.
• Exhibit excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Show personal initiative and resourcefulness; capable of acting independently to resolve issues.
• Be available for emergency work outside of regular business hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in audio mixing for both studio and live environments.
• Proficient with Waves Emotion LV1 audio consoles and Waves SoundGrid.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness and composure in high-pressure situations.
• Experience managing large projects under the guidance of the Audio Director, Worship Director, and Production Director.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• A musical background is a plus; an Associate Degree or equivalent in Audio Production, Media, Recording, or Music is advantageous.
