Job Description

We are seeking off shift (4 PM - 12 AM, 12 AM - 8 AM) Inside Service Technicians to join our growing team! You will solve client issues with our camera-based quality and production monitoring equipment. This position is a work from home position.

Responsibilities:

• Be on call during assigned hours to answer customer problems and concerns
• Troubleshoot and resolve the customer's issue by:
  • Guiding the customer through a solution and or
  • Remotely logging in and solving the system issue and or
  • If necessary, turning the issue over to a manager or onsite service technician
• Maintain excellent customer service

​ Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SQL server- ability to check/set up security/users for a DB in SQL
• Ability to create a database backup in SQL
• Ability to stand up a DB backup and point ECS to it
• Ability to Run or quickly learn how to run basic SQL scripts as needed
• Ability to install SQL server, and reporting services on a server/pc from scratch
• Knowledge of RDP and how it works
• Deep networking/switch-VPN background is a plus
• Basic knowledge of windows folder permissions/how to set them up/change and add items to them
• Knowledge of command line/PowerShell and how to ping for computer names/IP addresses
• Knowledge of what windows firewall is and how to add exceptions/turn if off as needed
