We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer III to serve as a senior member of the Network Engineering team, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the company's advanced network infrastructure. Your role will involve handling the most complex network challenges, driving strategic initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers. *This position is 100% in office and will be based in Irvine, CA. General Responsibilities: Enterprise Network Design and Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's WAN, LAN, and WLAN across all locations. Architect and implement SD-WAN (VeloCloud) solutions to enhance network performance and reliability. Advanced Network Troubleshooting: Serve as the highest level of support for complex network issues, providing expertise and guidance to the entire network team. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to all aspects of the network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless systems. Network Security Leadership: Lead the management of Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring the highest levels of network security and compliance. Develop and enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed. Strategic Planning and Project Leadership: Drive strategic network initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and new technology deployments. Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of complex network projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering professional growth within the team. Develop training programs and share best practices to elevate the overall technical competency of the network team. Work Schedule + Benefits Full-time, Salaried, Exempt Pay Range is $140,000 - $160,000 annualized salary The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors. Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm Excellent Benefits, to include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA's, 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, Adoption Assistance, Education Reimbursement, Supplemental Health Plans and Pet Insurance Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure. Expert knowledge of Cisco routers, Juniper switches, wireless networks, and SD-WAN technologies, particularly VeloCloud. Extensive experience with network security, particularly Palo Alto firewalls. Proven ability to lead complex network projects and strategic initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
