Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Specialist

Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

Work Location: Westminster, CO - Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Rate : $80 to $90/hr on W2

Interview Process:

• 1st Round: Interview with technical lead
• 2nd Round: Interview with senior team member (as applicable)

Job Description:

• The Salesforce CPQ Specialist will serve as a Software Engineering Lead focused on the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) capability. This role involves providing hands-on technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ application development, configuration, and support. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including CRM and Business Operations, and will interact with SAP systems for integrated solutions. Flexibility and a proactive mindset are key to adapting to evolving project requirements and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, build, and support Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick solutions to meet business needs.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop Visualforce and Lightning component-level solutions following SFDC best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solution designs.
• Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP, and REST web services.
• Automate manual processes and workflows.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Administer Salesforce applications including user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
• Manage Advanced Approvals and configure CPQ features such as product setup, pricing, discounting, and quote templates.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems (SAP preferred) using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Maintain high code coverage and overall code quality.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including 1–2 years of recent CPQ experience.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation.
• Experience with CPQ objects and processes, including product options, pricing, discounting, and quote templates.
• Proficiency in Salesforce technologies: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Process Builder, Flow, and Advanced Approvals.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP-SFDC integration is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and customer focus.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Current Salesforce certifications are required.
• Experience with other CPQ tools (Apttus, Oracle, Callidus) is a plus.
