What is our client looking for?

Our client is looking for a well-rounded Senior Quality Engineer to join their awesome team. The primary responsibility of the Senior Quality Engineer is to ensure the functionality and usability of the product. This team member will write test cases and test new and existing features. You can work a hybrid role from their Raleigh, NC office, or as a remote employee, but you must be able to work East Coast hours .

What will I do as a Senior Quality Engineer at our client?

• Create/update manual and automated test cases to meet the security, coding and functionality standards.
• Be involved in all aspects of the SDLC, including but not limited to the test/release cycle which involves executing and/or performing manual and automated tests, reviewing results, troubleshooting, and updating tests if needed.
• Write documentation to support test results including defect reports and tracking defect resolutions.
• Participate in team standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements team meetings, and retrospective.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Create integration tests.
• Develop tools and practices that will increase the efficiency of your team.
• Work collaboratively and cohesively in a great team environment.

What skills do I need to be a successful Senior Quality Engineer at our client?

• 3-4 years Test Automation Experience
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent [PC1]
• Experience with Object Oriented programming
• High competency with Visual Studio 2019 and above
• Solid proficiency with SQL
• Solid proficiency with Excel
• Solid proficiency with C#
• High competency with Azure DevOps, including Test Plans and continuous integration
• Self-starter who can grasp difficult concepts quickly
• Must exhibit a high-level of analytical skills and attention to detail
