Branch Customer & Sales Representative

Job Description:

Resourceful and customer-focused branch support professional with experience in inside sales, showroom operations, and client relationship building. Thrives in multitasking environments that require accuracy, urgency, and a strong customer presence. Eager to expand skills into outside sales and strengthen partnerships with contractors, builders, and designers while ensuring a seamless branch operation from open to close.

Responsibilities Include

o Open the branch daily and ensure showroom readiness, cleanliness, and product organization.

o Greet and support customers and their customers in selecting tile, pavers, and natural stone materials.

o Manage order entry, confirmations, invoicing accuracy, and scheduling of pickups/deliveries.

o Verify warehouse-prepared orders and ensure correct materials are staged for customers.

o Conduct 2-3 days per week of outside sales visits targeting existing and new accounts.

o Support sales reps with lead follow-up, quoting, sample distribution, and job-pack coordination.

o Track back orders and collaborate with purchasing and logistics to keep customers informed.

o Maintain inventory awareness and promote new product arrivals during showroom interactions.

o Assist in hosting showroom events and builder/designer outreach initiatives.

o Deliver a professional, solution-oriented customer experience at every touchpoint.

Expected Achievements

o Strengthen showroom conversions by proactively assisting contractors' clients with selections and closing orders.

o Drive consistent reach and follow-ups, resulting in new active customer accounts added to the branch.

o Maintain showroom presentation excellence through timely display refreshes, labeling, and new product integration.

o Increase branch sales activity by completing 4 - 8 field visits per week on assigned days and logging activity in Salesforce.

o Support sales reps in turning quotes into orders through active tracking and customer touchpoints.

o Develop a working knowledge of product lines, enabling confident recommendations to contractors and designers.

o Build strong internal partnerships across operations, sales, and logistics, accelerating order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

o Support and execute at least one branch promotional event per quarter targeting builders, designers, and contractors.

o Demonstrate reliability in branch opening responsibilities and daily operational preparedness.

Experience

o Hands-on experience in branch operations, showroom support, or warehouse coordination.

o Customer-facing experience, ideally working with contractors, designers, or trade professionals.

o Sales or account support experience, including CRM usage and assisting in converting leads to orders.

o Familiarity with construction materials, flooring, or stone products is a plus.

o Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a hybrid operational and sales environment.
