Role: Textile Care Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep accurate records of laundry activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must maintain a positive attitude while effectively communicating with residents, staff, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Capable of following both oral and written instructions, and performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.
