Job Description

Position Overview: Pipe Welder We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipe Welder with at least 1 year of FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) or TIG pipe welding experience . The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and welding pipes and fittings of various materials according to construction drawings and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, fit, and weld pipes and fittings of various material types as specified by construction plans and technical guidelines.

Execute high-quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards and project specifications.

Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure structural integrity and precision.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and production targets.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of FCAW or TIG pipe welding experience.

Test Requirement: Must pass a hands-on FCAW/TIG pipe welding test in the following conditions:

6G position on a 2” pipe with a 3/32” wall thickness

Gas purge required

1/8” root opening

All welds to be completed using uphill progression

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in both FCAW and TIG welding techniques.

In-depth understanding of pipe welding procedures and best practices.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

Knowledge of materials and their properties when exposed to welding processes.
