About the Role Enterprise Business Services (EBS) is undergoing a transformation re-establishing itself as a quality provider of efficient and effective services to the whole of National Grid. EBS is overhauling several end-to-end processes to deliver a quality service to its internal users (i.e., Business Units) and external customers and suppliers globally. The Time Systems Sr. Administrator is responsible for day-to-day system configuration, ongoing testing, and improvements for HR & Payroll applications, working within the HR and Payroll Technology Team, alongside Global Product Owners, with responsibility for SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Learning modules and other integrated applications. Primary responsibility for one or more SuccessFactors modules (dependent on experience) with cross training requirements to support other designated modules and integrated applications. What You'll Do Central technical subject matter expert and enterprise administrator. Drive the configuration and optimization of the system to support business needs globally. Working with a third-party application support team to manage system configuration, architecture, role-based permissions, data integrity, and releases and monitoring and driving the resolution of defects providing guidance and testing where necessary. Supporting Product Owners to develop solutions to system challenges, collect user requirements, research technical practices, engage with the SAP SuccessFactors community and user groups to stay on top of leading practices. Executing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing for designated system changes and defect fixes. Manage your work and projects, navigate ambiguity and build collaborative relationships to enable an exceptional user experience. Expected to take on responsibility that may be broader than their own work as part of the HR Systems team partnering on other HR projects. Facilitate power user group sessions, to provide training or updates. Solves problems, communicates effectively with all stakeholders, at all levels of the organization. Perform any activities as assigned by line manager. What You'll Need Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills. Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication (including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms), as well as project and time management skills are essential. Role can be based in UK or US but will develop to support customers globally over time. Occasional travel to UK/US may be required for training/team/project activities on an exceptional basis B.A./B.Sc. degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education– (Desired) or Experience in HR, ideally in an HR Operations environment with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors, HR and Payroll (Desired) More Information #LI-TIME SYSTEM #LI-SYRACUSE #LI-WORKFORCE #LI-HYBRID Annual Salary Syracuse and surrounding area: $82,000-$97,000 Brooklyn and surrounding area: $99,000-$117,000 Waltham and surrounding area: $93,000-$109,000 Salary commensurate with experience and location. This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
