This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates or new professionals eager to learn the investment management industry and gain hands‑on exposure to alternative credit markets. The Trading Assistant plays an important role supporting front office operations and contribute to the success of the business. Responsibilities Set up assets within internal systems such as Order Management System (OMS) Execute pre-trade processes and coordinate with Compliance for necessary approvals Receive, reconcile, and input trade details into the OMS Support the processing of approximately 100-200 trades per week, totaling around $500 million in loans Serve as a liaison between trading team, closers and compliance team Manage corporate actions including submitting consents or declines on amendments Manage firm access to agency sites Maintain databases and Excel-based data queries Interact with research team to gather deal information Collaborate with application development and compliance team to identify process improvements In-Office Requirement: Employees are required to follow the in-office work schedule. Currently, OHA’s trading team in New York follows a hybrid model where employees work in-office Monday through Thursday. Employees have the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This schedule is subject to change based on organizational needs and policies. Other duties may be assigned.
