IPS - RMB Products is seeking a Laser Sintering Technician who assembles Laser Sinter parts following drawings and work instructions. Overtime will be required. The work is done in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Job Accountabilities:

This position includes the following essential functions, but is not limited to them:

• Prepare SinterStations
  1. Clean Process Chamber, Door, Laser Window, IR Sensors, Roller, etc.
  2. Monitor and calibrate Laser Power
  3. Validate N2 and coolant Flow
  4. Weigh, sift, vibrate, and load plastic powder
  5. Understand basic SinterStation control operations
• Perform rough and final break-out of completed builds
  1. Document cake conditions including color, firmness, and anomalies
  2. Perform glass bead blasting operations
  3. Sort and file tensile coupons
  4. Perform sanding as required
• Basic SinsterStation and Chiller Maintenance
  • Change Filters
  • Calibrate Laser Power
  • Chamber Lights, Laser Windows, etc.
  • Perform Minor SinsterStation Repairs: change seals
• Perform chiller maintenance
  • Change Filters
• Aid in other aspects of production as requested by Production Management

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Due to U.S. State Department restrictions on access to space technology, candidates must be "U.S. Persons" as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) 22 CFR 120-130
• ERP systems, specifically Visual Manufacturing is a plus
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer provided specifications
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Evaluate processes and communicate process steps for documentation
• Communicate orally in the English language
• Great attention to detail
• Meet Workmanship standards
• Work cooperatively with others
• Review work products of others to ensure conformance to expectations
• Requires compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and Company work rules as well as written instructions
• Requires a flexible and cooperative attitude, which includes when asked to perform other duties or tasks that are not listed within this job description but within the scope of this position .
• Requires communication skills both written and orally in the English language
• Requires excellent safety practices, which includes keeping a clean work area
• Interpersonal skills are essential and vital to maintain an organized warehouse
• Effectively process change through RMB feedback and reviews
• Requires personal responsibility and accountability meeting workmanship standards with little supervision to complete assignments
• Must maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and RMB
• Additional training and/or education may be required

The employee will be required:

• Standing: working with machinery for long periods of time
• Sitting: computer work
• Repetitive movement
• Ability to operate a fork-lift and overhead crane
• Lifting no more than 50 pounds alone and assisting in team lifts of more than 50 pounds
• Each employee is to fulfill the work schedule, work hours, and productivity expectations of their supervisor and RMB
• An employee is to comply with established standards, policies and laws applicable to our business
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
